  Easy prompt, yes the religious people will be crying Peace & Security because they will enter into a Covenant with the Antichrist. Babylon the Great will enter into an uneasy Peace with the Antichrst for the first 3 1/2 years only to be attacked in the 2nd part of the week when the Antichrist announces himself to be a god according to the Thessalonians

  Since we are on the subject of the "Witnesses for Jesus" I don't believe the 2 witnesses or the 144,000 are doing this witnessing.

  There is an unidentified group of anointed Christians that will have to preach "these good news of the kingdom and then the END will come ". Since the End is a specific period of 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation, this witnessing will have to take place during a peaceful time.These are the first 3 1/2 years of the "Peace and Security" that will be time of peace on the planet under the supervision of the Antichrist when he makes the "covenant with the many" at the begining of the last "week" of 7 years period according to Daniel.

  Daniel 9:27:" And he(=the Antichrist) shall make a strong covenant(=peace & security) with many(=Babylon the Great) for one week(=of 7 years), and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering"

  The 2 Witnesses are not Moses or Elijah based on this verse which is also a KEY in understanding their identity:

  Matt 11:24:"And if you are willing to accept it(=the kingdom of God), he(=John the Baptist) is the Elijah who was to come"

  So, had the Jews accepted Jesus as the Messiah they would have entered into the 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation and John the Baptist would have assumed the role of an End Time Witness like the 2 witnesses of Revelation. Since they never accepted Jesus these 3 1/2 are missing and of course they will happen in the near future when 2 specific individuals fashioned after Moses and Elijah will assume this role like John the Baptist did.

  The great crowd unlike WT teaching are last minute survivors that survive the GT. They are like the large crowd of Egyptians and other non Jews that followed Moses out of Egypt In the days of Exodus.

  Look how the book of Revelation speaks of these 2 men as Witnesses too.

  In Revelation 11:3–12 is a description of two individuals who will help accomplish God’s work during the tribulation: “I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth” (verse 3). Nowhere does the Bible identify these two witnesses by name, although people through the years have speculated.

  When at the time of the end the whole world will follow the Antichrist or the beast a specific group of Christians will be assigned to carry the witnessing for Jesus, they are also the ones that will preach the good news of the kingdom and then the end will come Matthew 24:14

  Rattigan350, no one has gone to heaven before Christ and Paradise is not in heaven. Are there verses to prove those 2 statements?

  Elihah was transported to another part of Israel where he continued his ministry and Enoch was removed from life, never said he went to heaven.
